Tyler Kanne is a 2017 RHP with a 5-11 150 lb. frame from Chino Hills, CA who attends Ruben S. Ayala HS. Medium, athletic frame with a lean and projectable build with room to fill out with added strength. Primary right-handed pitcher, works primarily out of the stretch, has moving parts to delivery that create deception and hides the ball well in the back. Stays tall on backside and online towards the plate with a loose arm action coming to an extended three-quarter release. Creates good plane on fastball, topped at 75 mph, shows running life with occasional sink. Works ahead in count and able to keep ball low in zone. Slider shows 10-4 shape with tight rotation and late sweeping action, flashes occasional depth. Flashed a curveball and maintained arm speed on changeup well with some late fade. Feel for pitch and mixes well, keeps hitters off balance.
