2015 Spring Top Prospect Showcase
Noah Dawkins is a 2016 SS/2B with a 5-9 155 lb. frame from South Elgin, IL who attends St Charles North HS. Compact athletic build, has some present strength. Right handed hitter, open stance, doesn't get hips closed before swing, short swing with an inside swing path, will collapse his back side at times, has some strength and bat speed at contact but needs to become more consistent in his approach. Second base tools and actions on defense, short and quick exchange/release, made accurate throws, developing arm strength, works through the ball well with good footwork. Good student.
