Mark Coley is a 2018 SS/OF with a 5-9 150 lb. frame from Bloomfield, CT who attends Bloomfield. Medium, slender frame with quality athletic build throughout body and good remaining room to fill out moving forward. Ran well, posting a 7.34 second 60 yard dash time. Crouches back into load when hitting, high hand set and high back elbow, shows quality bat speed with quick hands to and through the hitting zone, rotational swing throughout, gets solid extension through contact. Strong wrists generate good gap power, consistently showed ability to hit the ball in the air with projectable power potential. Showed good first step defensively, moving to the ball well and working through it in the outfield, gathers and throws in fluid motion, throws topped at 76 MPH with clean arm action and accuracy. Showed quality footwork with range to both sides in the infield, smoothness throughout actions, quick release with accuracy and overall athleticism to actions. Good student.
