Jackson Kemp is a 2020 C/1B/3B with a 6-2 220 lb. frame from Gainesville, GA who attends Cherokee Bluff. Extra big and strong build, pretty mature physically. Right handed hitter, hits from a narrow and open stance, comfortable set up, gets the back elbow down well and into his swing, very strong swing with rotational pull side power, ball jumps off the barrel well, has looseness and pretty much just overpowers the ball, has a good feel for the barrel. 7.74 runner, receives well out front with soft hands, has a quick exchange and gets rid of the ball cleanly, 2.01 best pop time, solid arm strength. Has the offensive potential to excel even if he eventually outgrows the catching position defensively. Good student. Named to the National Underclass Main Event Top Prospect List.
