Brett Curll is a 2006 right handed hitting third baseman from Virginia Beach, Virginia. At 6'0", 165 lbs., Curll has a nice projectable athletic body and should have no trouble gaining strength in the future. His best present tools are on defense. Curll has nice actions moving side to side, with good balance and soft hands. His arm action is a bit long, but he has good arm strength for a young developing player. Curll was able to show his arm and defensive abilities best in game situations. Offensively, Curll hits from a no load approach with low hands to start his swing. This makes it hard for him to generate much bat speed with wood at his age, however, he should improve with physical maturity. Curll is a 7.53/4.62 runner as well.
