Hubert Russell is a 2012 RHP/OF with a 6-3 220 lb. frame from Freeport, BS. Older player, 20 years old, big and mature build. Works from the stretch, immediate and quick hand takeaway to start delivery, compact arm action, hides the ball effectively, high and tight release point, falls off to the first base side on release. Upper 70's fastball, topped out at 80 mph, mostly straight. Short slider with soft spin, rare change up. 7.00 runner. Has raw strength at the plate as a right handed hitter but also tends to open very early just as he does on the mound. Native of the Bahamas.
