Ben Anderson is a 2020 SS/2B, 3B with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Marietta, GA who attends Walton. Medium frame with a lean, athletic build. Frame projects for additional strength while maintaining athleticism. Ran a 6.70 sixty-yard dash. Primary shortstop with smooth, athletic footwork while ranging for and surrounding the baseball. Plays low through the baseball while funneling with quick, clean exchanges. Reads hops well with the ability to manipulate glove. Created accurate carry across the infield topping at 80 miles per hour. Right handed hitter with an upright, slightly closed stance and simple leg lift trigger. Creates some linear shift into contact with lower half. Stays balanced throughout and employed a simple line drive barrel plane through extension. Flashed good feel for the barrel with the ability to produce hard line drive contact to the middle of the field between the gaps. Very good student as well.
