Cameron Herndon is a 2019 1B/LHP with a 5-10 145 lb. frame from Floresville, TX who attends Floresville HS. Younger player that physically should see some more growth and muscle as he continues to mature. At first base, does a nice job of keeping the ball in front, developing actions. At the plate, starts with a wide, very open stance with his hands pulled back. Swings on a line drive swing path with contact to all fields. Developing bat speed and feel for the barrel. Flashed ability to hit inside pitch hard pull side. On the mound, throws from a 3/4 arm slot. Easy delivery, pounds the strike zone. Excellent student.
