Zach Packard is a 2018 RHP/1B with a 6-1 177 lb. frame from Berkeley, CA who attends Berkeley HS. Has a large frame, lean build, and room to continue to fill out physically as he further matures. Posted a 7.94 second sixty yard dash. From the mound, throws from a low three-quarters arm slot with long arm action, slight cross fire to the plate generating sinking and running action on fastball. Curveball shows 11/5 shape, slider has 10/4 shape with slurve shape and solid spin. From the infield, showed first base actions and developing footwork. At the plate, right-handed hitter that starts with an upright stance, low hand set, and a toe tap trigger. Has solid lower half mechanics, inside hand path, opposite field approach.
