Frank Mayosky is a 2017 SS/RHP with a 5-11 150 lb. frame from Baldwinsville, NY who attends Charles Baker. Medium, athletic build with a lean, projectable build and room to fill out with additional strength. Ran a 7.24 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, moves well on feet with short steps and works through the ball well, quick transfer with nice reactions, short arm action in the back, projects for more arm strength with incorporation of lower half, gets on top of accurate throws. Also pitched, throws from a three-quarter arm slot with a smooth, repeatable stroke through the back. Easy and low effort delivery, generate running life and some sink to fastball that topped at 75 mph and shows ability to work in. Right-handed hitter, starts with spread lower half and calm handset. Upper body swing, shows length to swing but creates loud contact off the barrel. Patient approach and shows feel for the barrel with ability to go to opposite field. Generates bat speed coming through the zone with a line drive swing path.
