Andrew Snyder is a 2007 OF/3B/P with a 5'11'', 185 lb. frame from Oceanside, CA, who attends Rancho Buena Vista HS. Medium frame with present strength. Snyder ran a solid 7.2 sixty time, and showed game quickness as well. In the outfield he moves to the ball well with fluid strides and athleticism. Snyder has a strong arm (86 mph) from the outfield with good arm speed and arm action. He has good online carry on his throws with solid accuracy. At the plate he is a right handed with a crouched stance. Snyder is an aggressive hitter with a quick bat who hits hard line drives. He took a very good BP showing his power and ability to center the ball. He also went 3-5 in the showcase games hitting to all fields. On the mound he throws from a 3/4 arm slot with a loose and quick arm. The ball comes out clean and his fastball topped out at 81 mph. Snyder has good pitchability and mixed in his 74 mph breaking ball to keep hitters off-balance. He has projectable velocity with good upside. Snyder is a two-way prospect that should be followed. He is an excellent student as well.
