2005 National Open Top Prospect Showcase
Ricardo Dominguez is a 6'4" 167 pound 2006 right handed pitcher from Miami, Florida who attends Southwest Senior High School. He has a tall lean body that is very projectable and has a lot of room to fill out. Ricardo has a short arm action in back and is very balanced in his delivery. His arm works very easy and his fastball has good late run on it at 78 mph. His curveball at 60 mph has a 10/4 rotation to it and a very good late break to it. Ricardo is a solid prospect with a very good upside who is also a good student with a 3.2 gpa and a 1410 on his SAT.
