Zackary Ploch is a 2020 3B/RHP with a 5-11 190 lb. frame from Wentzville, MO who attends Timberland HS. Medium frame with a strong build. Projects for additional size with strength. Ran a 7.57 sixty yard dash. Primary third baseman with compact, deliberate footwork while working to the baseball. Developing glove actions and fluidity while funneling and working through exchange. Released from a high energy three-quarters arm slot that generated some on line carry across the infield, topped at 82 miles per hour. Right handed hitter with crouched, slightly open stance and high back elbow set. Lower half showed rotational actions to contact with occasional shift into baseball. Loose, extended path and plane through extension and primarily utilized a mid-field approach. Consistently produced contact to the middle of the field with occasional line drive pop between the gaps when squared. Tools will continue to develop with physical maturity, very good student as well.
