Brian Halpin is a 2006 middle infielder from Notre Dame Catholic HS in Monroe, Connecticut, with a lean and athletic 5'11"/155 pound frame. Brian is a right handed hitter that hits from an open stance. He showed good bat speed and a line drive swing plane. Halpin has good hands and is a contact hitter with good instincts on the bases. In the infield he has good actions and reactions with very good range. Halpin has a quick release and an accurate arm at 79 mph.
