2015 Mid Atlantic Underclass Showcase
Sam Barranco is a 2017 OF/3B with a 5-8 140 lb. frame from Severna Park , MD who attends Severna Park High School. Barranco has a medium build with room to fill out. Hits from a square stance with a high hand set, line drive swing plane with a pull approach. Good rhythm to swing, shows ability to hit to all fields but mostly to pull side. Shows good bat speed. Defensively, fields out front, short steps to ball, good accuracy and shows developing carry. Arm works well.
