James Clark is a 2017 C/ with a 6-2 147 lb. frame from Fort Knox, KY who attends Fort Knox HS. Large, long frame with slender frame, plenty of room to fill out, add muscle mass at physical maturity. Primary catcher, bends well and gets in good position to receive the ball. Solid exchange and transfer, able to gain ground with feet on throws to bases, takes a while for everything to get going, developing arm strength. Right handed hitter, upright stance with slight bend in knees, relaxed hand set. Leg lift trigger, can be late getting foot down at times, shows developing feel for barrel when lower half is on time, in synch with rest of body. Good student.
