Klayton Everhart is a 2018 SS/RHP/2B with a 5-7 120 lb. frame from Pace, FL who attends Pace High School. Young player, small build with skinny, lean frame and room to grow. In the field, sound actions, good play on slow roller. At current size, best suited for second base. At the plate, switch hitter, tight hands close to the body with a medium leg lift trigger. Same swing from both sides of the plate. Inside hand path with a contact oriented approach to the opposite field and up the middle. On the mound, utilized a short, compact delivery and three quarter arm slot that repeats well. Stays tall on the backside with good lower half incorporation. Quick arm and challenges hitters by filling up the strike zone with fastball that topped out at 78 with life. Mixed in 9/4 breaking curveball that flashes depth. Effectively elicits weak contact. Projects best on the mound. Good student.
