Mackenzie Hollingsworth is a 2016 SS/2B/RHP with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Jackson, WY who attends Jackson Hole HS. Medium, athletic frame with slender present build and good room to fill out still. Posted 7.53 60 yard dash time. Hits from very spread out stance with heavily upper body-oriented swing mechanics. Line drive swing plane, rotational in upper body, lacks weight transfer off of back side, makes contact consistently to the opposite field on a line and on the ground. Worked out defensively in the infield. Long strides to both sides, solid hand work with softness when fielding, shows smooth arm action with IF velocity topping at 72 MPH. Pitched as well, clean to balance point, slight hip coil back, uncoils well and drives downhill. Arm shows some quickness without much effort. Arm works well to mid 3/4 slot, FB worked 74-77, commanded pitch well down in zone. CB showed 10/4 sharp with slurvy break; CH comes out of hand clean with solid fading life. Good student.
