Lean and athletic frame, lots of room to fill out physically with added strength throughout frame. Posted a 7.27-second in the 60 yard dash. Primary lefthanded pitcher, simple side step to a medium leg lift to begin delivery, stays flexed on back side at gather and works to the plate with drop and drive action, online delivery, clean arm action to a high 3/4 arm slot. Fastball produced occasional downhill angle with some run to arm side, low- to mid-70s fastball, topped at 75 mph. Showed a curveball with 1-to-7 action with depth. Flashed a changeup offering that showed some sink to the bottom of the zone, tended to slow arm speed on changeup offering. Consistently pounded the zone and challenged hitters. Also took reps in the outfield, waits back on the ball, choppy steps into gather, stiffer actions, accurate throws to the bag with decent carry, topped at 75 from the outfield. Righthanded hitter, slightly crouched and slightly crouched stance, high back elbow and high hand set, short and inside hand path, rotational lower half, gentle and stiff swing mostly to the opposite field, developing bat speed. Very good student.
