Anthony Gose is a 2008 OF/P with a 6'0'', 170 lb. frame from Bellflower, CA who attends Bellflower HS. He has a loose, slender build with plenty of projecton. Gose's run/throw tools are among the best in the country. His outfield arm strength is huge, he registered 96 mph on the gun from an easy overhand release. The arm strength translates to the mound, as Gose threw 88-92 from the mound as well. Gose runs a 6.51 60 and has first step quickness on the bases. The big question will be with the bat. Gose's swing is long and his hands tend to be late to the ball before developing late bat speed. If he learns how to hit and use his physical tools, Gose has a very high celing. He'll be heavily cross checked during the spring to evalute his hitting potential.

Anthony Gose is a 2008 OF/P with a 6'0'', 160 lb. frame from Bellflower CA, who attends Bellflower HS. Anthony has a lean athletic build and has some of the best raw tools in the country. At the plate Anthony has good bat speed and the ball really leaves his bat well. His hands work well in his swing but he is a bit raw in his swing mechanics. He had a slight shoulder injury at the time and he will be just fine as gets healthy again. In the outfield Anthony projects very well in right field. He showed off huge arm strength and he also runs well for the position. Anthony has an athletic approach to the ball and keeps his throws very low. On the mound Anthony has a long loose arm action with great arm speed. He gets a nice downhill plane on his pitches and shows a nice sinking change-up with good arm speed. His arm is live with good armside run and there is a ton of upside for this prospect. Anthony is a highest-level college prospect that should attract the attention of colleges throughout the country. His tools will draw significant attention from scouts and project well for the pro game.
