Parker Macdonald is a 2018 RHP/2B with a 6-0 150 lb. frame from Manhattan Beach, CA who attends Mira Costa. Large frame with a lean, athletic build and long limbs. Shows wiry strength throughout frame. Body projects for additional size with strength. Primary right handed pitcher, smooth arm circle back a sepeartion and releases with a compact arm action through extension. Uses lower half well while generating downhill, on line momentum to the plate. Fastball comes out of hand cleanly with occasional sinking action down in the zone. Fastball sat in the low 70's, topping at 74 mph. Curveball showed 10/4 shape with good spin and depth in the upper 50's. Flashed command of both pitched with the ability to get to each edge of the plate. Very projectable frame, fastball velocity and movement will continue to improve with continued physical development. Good student as well.
