Josh Chamberlain is a 2017 RHP/3B with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from Thornton, CO who attends Legacy HS. Medium athletic build, young look, plenty of room to get stronger. Simple leg raise delivery, stays directional well, compact arm action, high 3/4's arm slot, has sound base mechanics. Mid-70's fastball, velocity picked up the more he threw, keeps the ball low and works to the outside half, gets some cutting action glove side at times. Has three secondary pitches, slider was the best offering this outing with some bite and spin to it, tends to low arm on curveball and not throw it with conviction, also throws a change up. Has an idea how to mix pitches, just a matter of getting stronger. Right handed hitter, very hand start to his swing, gets under the ball and puts it in the air. Excellent student.
