Jack Roper is a 2024 OF/RHP/1B with a 5-9 138 lb. frame from Cedartown, GA who attends Cedartown. Smaller to medium frame with a slender, young build who will look to make a big jump physically down the road. Ran a 7.46 second sixty yard dash. Primary Outfielder sitting back on the baseball before working into it. Two hand gather before shuffling into crow hop. Looks to carry baseball to target with air underneath. Young feel for the position. Secondary Righthanded pitcher starting square to the dish from the windup before showing a balanced, belt high leg lift and go. Compact arm circle in the back before delivering from over the top. Does a good job getting over his front side and released downhill. Worked around the strike-zone and competed. Fastball up to 71 MPH with a curveball showing depth that he landed for strikes. Secondary Firstbaseman fielding the baseball deep with a clean gather. Hands showing some feel for it before showing an uphill release to throws. Throws around the bag as well. Righthanded hitter starting with low hands before working into a double tap and stride. Uphill swing path as he looks to pull the baseball when possible. Barrel finder type swing as he looks to put it in play.
