Kole Barkhaus is a 2017 RHP/OF with a 6-2 175 lb. frame from Woodburn, IN who attends Blackhawk Christian Jr/Sr HS. Has a large frame, lean build, and present athleticism. Posted a 7.24 sixty yard dash. Works very quickly in his pace of delivery. Throws from a three-quarters arm slot with quick arm speed. His four-seam fastball has late life, showed plus arm side run when mixing in his two-seam fastball. Curveball has smaller break and does a nice job of keeping hitters off balanced. When working out of the stretch, showed quick footwork and pick-off move over to first base. Displayed the ability to command the zone extremely well with all pitches working inside and outside, mixing locations on a regular basis. Good student.
