Anthony Perez is a 2017 RHP/ with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from Woodland, CA who attends Pioneer HS. Has a large frame, large build, with strength and physicality. Posted a 7.49 second sixty yard dash. From the mound, has an easy paced delivery, works well down the mound with some drop and drive mechanics, slight crossfire into extension, repeats well. Throws from a three-quarters arm slot with some sinking action to his fastball, breaking ball showed 11/5 break with slurvy shape. Pounded the strike zone and showed good pitchability. From the outfield, worked quickly through the baseball with clean actions and transfers, arm strength was up to 84 mph with online carry while being accurate to the bases, uses his momentum well through the baseball. At the plate, right-handed hitter that starts with an open stance, lower hand set, and leg lift trigger. Has a good rhythm in load and incorporates lower half nicely, has good strength allowing the ball to travel well off the barrel. Good student.
