Harrison Courtney is a 2017 OF/RHP with a 5-11 150 lb. frame from Little Neck, NY who attends Fiorello H Laguardia High School Of Music. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and a lean, projectable build with room to fill out. Ran a 7.45 60-yard dash. Primary infielder, takes short steps moving to the ball with young footwork, short arm action through the back working to a higher release point, repeats arm action well and gets on top of throws, arm strength will continue to develop with added strength. Also pitched, throws from a mid three-quarters arm slot, incorporates lower half and able to generate slight cut action to fastball. Flashed 10-4 shaped curveball with short depth. Righthanded hitter, begins with a balanced, spread stance in the box and uses a small leg lift trigger for timing. Upper body swing, shows comfort with mechanics and has a smooth swing path through the zone with extension out front. Full swing with some uphill to plane, creates contact to all fields, projects with additional lower half incorporated into swing. Good student.
