Ryan Boccafogli is a 2018 OF/ with a 5-9 165 lb. frame from Clifton, NJ who attends Paramus Catholic. Medium, athletic frame with slender present build; body projects well moving forward. Posted a 7.11 seconds 60 yard dash time. Sets up to hit with weight leaned back, high hand set/high back elbow set, line drive swing plane with inside-out swing path, shifts weight well, consistently used the big part of the field back up the middle and to the opposite field when hitting. Worked out defensively in the outfield. Moves to ball well, has athleticism in footwork and actions, fields cleanly at the ball, throws from higher slot back to the infield, uphill release, solid carry, arm strength projects, topped at 70 MPH on throws from the OF. Very good student.
