Ozabe Banks is a 2019 LHP/ with a 5-10 178 lb. frame from Los Angeles, CA who attends Junipero Serra HS. Medium frame with room to fill out and add strength. Primary lefthanded pitcher who only threw during the event. Smooth rocker step into a high leg lift delivery. Stays tall and balanced on the back side. Works to the plate with drop and drive actions. Deeper arm circle and released from a three-quarters arm slot. Curveball had 1/7 shape with tight spin and good depth. Fastball comes out of the hand cleanly with slight downhill tilt and topped out at 79 mph. Good feel to locate both pitches and can land curveball effectively for strikes. Good command and flashed a firm changeup with some sink. Good student.
