Jack Stoddart is a 2018 RHP with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Platte Woods, MO who attends St. Pius X HS. Medium build, plenty of room to get stronger. Worked from both the stretch and the windup, had better raw stuff and command from the stretch, tight 3/4's arm slot, gets good use of his lower half in creating torque and drive to the plate. Fastball topped out at 81 mph, good life on his fastball and works down in the zone consistently. Curveball showed tight spin and some depth when he releases it at full arm speed, tends to let up and aim it at times and loose feel. Right handed hitter, hits from a wide base with good lower half shift, long swing with an uphill swing plane. Good student.
