Mark Chavez is a 2018 OF/RHP with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from North Highlands, CA who attends Antelope HS. Has a younger build with room to fill out as he continues to mature physically. Posted a 7.52 second sixty yard dash. From the outfield, showed deliberate footwork to the baseball with solid transfers into accurate throws. Arm strength projects more as he continues to consistently get behind the baseball and add strength. At the plate, right-handed hitter that starts with a deep hand set and a toe tap trigger. Uses a middle to opposite field appraoch with natural lift through the point of contact. Good student.
