Anthony Jones is a 2019 3B/RHP with a 5-9 164 lb. frame from Houston, TX who attends Bellaire HS. Recorded a 7.45 60-yard dash. Smaller frame with some athleticism to the build. Primary third baseman who circles the ball well and showed clean, quick hands. Solid actions overall with quality footwork. Transitions well into throws with developing arm strength. Throws were consistently accurate. High hand set at the plate with a line drive approach. Very simple swing with a short and compact path. Showed ability to control the barrel of the bat and is looking to extend out in front. Swing plane has natural lift to it and power will continue to improve as he adds strength to the frame. Good student.
