Jonas Kim is a 2019 SS/IF/OF with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Puyallup, WA who attends Puyallup HS. Young athletic build, very projectable physically. Right handed hitter, hits from a spread stance with a loose and extended swing, uses his lower half well, has present bat speed with more to come, will over swing at times and pull his front side off early, can drive the ball hard. Profiles as a third baseman defensively, has quick feet and athletic actions, gets rid of the ball quickly with good carry on his throws, has an especially quick first step and shows range, charges the ball hard and with good balance. Can also play the outfield with the same type of athleticism and aggressiveness. Also pitched, rotational delivery with an early hand separation, worked low in the zone with a mid-70's fastball, slider showed good spin and some bite. Good student.
