Bryan Kloetzke is a 2005 catcher/third baseman/right handed pitcher from Woodbury, Minnesota, with a solid 6'0", 185 lb. frame. Kloetzke worked out at many positions and showed solid arm strength at each. He had solid pop times from a low arm angle behind the plate. Offensively he hits from an upright stance and commits a little early with his forward weight shift. He shows plus power potential and would benefit from keeping his weight back improving his already very impressive power. On the mound he throws from a 3/4 arm slot with a short arm arc. He has a power delivery with a high leg kick and solid mechanics. His fastball is 79-80 mph with a good downward plane. Kloetzke's curveball was 65-67 mph with decent break from a 10 to 4 angle. Kloetzke shows plus power potential that would play large at the next level. He can really hit!
