Bryan Shaw is a 2005 right handed pitcher/outfielder from Livermore, California, with a large frame, and lean lively build to add more muscle. Shaw has a good approach with the bat, and on the mound. He shows some hidden strength with the bat with gap power and the ability to center the ball. On the mound, he has a good loose arm, and the ball leaves his hand well with good action. Shaw is aggressive towards the hitter, and comes right at them showing no fear. Shaw is a a good two way prospect. He's a very good athlete with running ability. He's definite high level DI caliber on the mound, with pro potential.

Bryan is a 2006 from Livermore California with a large frame and build, square shoulders and athletically proportioned through out. Long arms and legs and has room to hold more muscle. He likes to have a wide base at the plate, small stride to contact and ball reacts with some life. Quick first step out of box, good strides and ran the bases well. Runs well enough to play center and has an arm to play anywhere else in the outfield. Showed a low 3/4 arm slot with good tempo to his delivery. Downer curveball with some late depth on occasion. Quality college player that should generate interest from higher end type college program and grow into a possible draft.
