Nathaniel Wilson is a 2022 LHP/1B with a 5-7 155 lb. frame from Huntsville, AL who attends Westminister Christian Academy. Small and athletic frame with room to fill and plenty of growing still to do. Ran an 8.15 second 60 yard dash. Primary lefthanded pitcher, clean and compact windup, clean and full arm coming up to a high 3/4 arm slot as he releases the ball, developing arm speed, uses lower half well in delivery, projects for more on the mound with continued development and added arm speed. Mixed in three pithes for strikes, fastball topped out at 69 mph, attacked with the fastball forcing contact early in counts, developing spin for his 12-to-6 curveball, maintained arm speed on changeup with some fade. Secondary first baseman, fields the ball out in front, developing hands up to a clean exchange, made all plays and looked the part at the position. Also took reps in the outfield, fields the ball out front similar to an infielder, attacks the ball well, developing arm strength on throws, topped out at 71 mph from the outfield and 70 mph from first base. Lefthanded hitter, slightly open stance, small stride forward into contact, short swing with a downhill swing plane, mostly opposite field contact during round. Outstanding student.
