Luke Labriola is a 2022 1B/LHP/OF with a 6-2 180 lb. frame from Bradenton, FL who attends Cardinal Mooney. Large frame with a lean and athletic build and great physical projection. Ran a 7.22 second 60-yard dash. Primary first baseman, has sound and athletic footwork around the ball, funnels it cleanly out front and exchanges to a short arm action with good arm strength across. Showed similar ease to actions in the outfield with a clean arm that works well on his throws to bags. Pitches as well, has a simple and controlled delivery with good balance and ease to his operation; pounds the zone with some cut to the fastball and mimics release when going to a swing-and-miss curveball with great late bite. Left-handed hitter, sets up even and upright with a deep load and long stride into contact; shows strength in the swing with solid hands that generate impact off the barrel and lift at the contact point but struggled with timing during batting practice.
