Brett Tiagwad is a 2008 2B/OF with a 6'0'', 170 lb. frame from Mt Laurel NJ, who attends St Joseph's Prep. Tiagwad has a medium sized frame with a lean lanky build. Defensively, Tiagwad has efficient actions and takes good angles to the baseball. His hands work well defensively and he makes consistent accurate throws. He has some arm strength with some carry on his throws across the infield. He profiles best at second base. At the plate, Tiagwad starts with a slightly closed stance with a high hand set. He has a high back elbow and uses a short stride to start his swing. Tiagwad swings on a line drive path and maintains good balance through his swing. His swing is wristy and can hit to the opposite field well. Tiagwad can run well which helps him on the basepaths. Tiagwad is a good student.
