Kyle Neel is a 2018 RHP/2B with a 6-2 155 lb. frame from Humble, TX who attends Kingwood Park HS. Very slender young build. Compact arm action on the mound with a tight low elbow release point, tends to collapse front side landing and get under the ball. Fastball topped out at 75 mph, gets very good and consistent running and sinking life down in the zone, got lots of ground balls with his fastball and threw strikes. Soft curveball with some 11/5 shape, also threw strikes with it. Right handed hitter, hits from a spread stance, short rotational swing with contact all over the field. Should improve proportionate to the amount of strength he can gain. Good student.
