2006 Northeast Top Prospect Showcase
Sam Lituchy is a 2007 MIF with a 5'7'', 145 lb. frame from Melville, NY who attends Hale Hollow Hills East HS. Sam has a small lean build with a lot of room to fill out. He has a line-drive swing plane and centers the ball well at the plate. Sam really just lacks the strength to drive the ball at this point. In the field Sam has a good feel for the game and solid range. His arm strength will limit him to second base for the time being. Sam is a good student that may attract the attention of a few small colleges.
