2006 Atlantic Coast Underclass Showcase
Zackery Sanders is a 2009 MIF from Bethel HS in Hampton, VA with a 5'9", 135 lb. frame. Zackery has a lean build with a lot of room to fill out. He showed a good feel for how to hit at the showcase and will see it come around even more as he gets stronger. Zackery is an aggressive hitter that makes a nice move through the ball to produce solid line-drive contact. He showed good lift to the middle of the field and his power will come around in time. In the field Zackery looks the strongest at second base. He has good range, but needs to work on his footwork some. Zackery is a solid young player that will attract the attention of many colleges once he fills out.
