David Langley is a 6'1" 180 pound 2007 right handed pitcher and first baseman from South Lake High School in Clermont, Florida. He has a good frame and build with strength. David pitches from a 3/4 arm slot with a short quick arm. His arm works very smoothly and he has good arm action on his off speed pitches. His fastball topped out at 81 mph with some late life. He threw both his curveball and change up at 68 mph. He has good core strength as well. Langley hits with a crouched stance and has a strong body that gives him some power. He did show good bat speed and the ability to hit the ball the other way. David is also a good student with a 3.2 gpa.
