Zack Morrison is a 2026 SS/RHP, 2B, 3B, OF with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Ringgold, GA who attends Baylor. Recorded a 7.15 second 60-yard dash time. Primary shortstop with a medium frame and athletic build. Athletic mover on the dirt with good hands to both sides. Developing arm strength on throws across the diamond at 75 mph with accuracy on the move. Secondary right-handed pitcher with a coiled belt-high lift from the windup. Long arm swing behind with a 3/4 arm slot landing pretty direct down the slope. Fastball with arm-side run up to 75 mph (1667 RPM) and curveball at 63 mph (1886 RPM). Gets a bit quick down the slope at times with long arm swing and doesn't get to release point out front. Solid foundation with timing issues at separation that should smooth out as he adds strength and arm speed moving forward. Solid reads and routes working in the outfield with a knack for the ball and throws to the bases at 75 mph. Right-handed hitter with an even base and toe-tap trigger. Hands are tight to the body and when he gets to extension out front shows flashes of impact through the middle of the field. Good student. Named to the Southeast Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List.
