Braeden Bourne is a 2020 2B/SS with a 5-6 122 lb. frame from San Diego, CA who attends Rancho Bernardo HS. Compact frame with a lean build. Frame projects for additional size and strength with continue physical development. Primary second baseman with clean, fluid footwork while surrounding the baseball. Funnels out front and worked through exchange well. Flashed some range to each side while releasing from a low three-quarters arm slot. Throws produced some on line carry across the infield at 76 miles per hour. Right handed hitter with a slightly crouched, balanced stance and large leg lift trigger. Works to contact with rotational lower half actions. Deep hand load and works to contact on a loose path. Utilized a line drive barrel plane through extension. Stays balanced throughout with developing feel for the barrel. Primarily worked the ball to the middle of the field on a line. Excellent student.
