Stefan Sabol is a 2010 C/OF/1B with a 6'1'', 195 lb. frame from Aliso Viejo, CA who attends Aliso Niquel high school. We've seen Sabol a lot and he is one of the more athletic high school catchers we have seen in many years. We saw the same thing in LA. He has a strong athletic body and he runs more like an outfielder than a catcher. He shows a very strong accurate arm and quickness behind the plate. He's an excellent all around receiver. At the plate he shows some serious power potential to all fields with excellent bat speed. There is not much he can't do on a baseball field from a talent perspective. Sabol is a good student, will be heavily recruited and followed closely by MLB scouts. It's hard to tell how good he might end up being.

He is outstanding defensively and uses his athleticism well behind the plate. He has very good arm strength and gets rid of the ball fast and put up great numbers in the workout. He shows very good bat speed at the plate and makes hard contact to all fields. He can really hit and projects to hit with power. He also runs very well to add even more interest. Sabol is an excellent student and a top follow in the 2010 class.

Stefan Sabol is a 2010 C/1B/OF with a 6'1'', 195 lb. frame from Aliso Viejo, CA who attends Aliso Niquel. Sabol has a big frame with a strong athletic build. Defensively, Sabol has good arm strength with carry on his throws. He has quick feet and quick transfers on his throws which results in pop times sub 1.9. He is a good receiver and moves well behind the plate. He has high level defensive tools and looks to only get better defensively. Sabol is also a very good runner for a catcher at 6.87. At the plate, Sabol starts with a straight stance with high hands. He uses a knee lift trigger to start his swing and uses his legs well in his swing. The ball really jumps off his bat and he makes consistent solid contact. Sabol generates good bat speed and has juice in his swing. He uses a line drive approach and can hit for some power. He is very projectable at the plate and can really hit. Sabol is a very high level prospect with an outstanding tool set to build upon. He is also an outstanding student.
