Albert McCormick is a 2007 SS/P/OF with a 5'10'', 175 lb. frame from Chicago IL, who attends De LaSalle Inst. McCormick has a medium sized frame with a lean athletic build. McCormick has excellent straight line speed at 6.65 and it carries over to his defense. Defensively, he has excellent active feet with sound footwork. He has quick hands that are soft as well. He throws with an easy arm action and has solid arm strength. At the plate, McCormick starts with an open stance with a medium width base. He gets closed at stride and looks to pull the ball. McCormick has a short compact stroke with good bat speed. He has some lift to his swing and has present gap to gap pop. He has a good approach at the plate and really centers the ball up well consistently. McCormick has a good tool set to build upon.
