Brandon Grenier is a 2007 LHP/OF from Franklin County High School in Rocky Mount, VA, with a 6'1'', 195 lb. frame. On the mound he throws from a high 3/4 arm slot with a deceptive delivery. Grenier has solid arm speed, but he has trouble repeating his delivery at times. His fastball topped out at 82 mph with occasional arm side life. His arm speed and body type give him projectable velocity. Grenier's best pitch on this day was his curveball that has big, sweeping action and tilt at 70 mph. He is a good sized lefty with upside on the mound. Defensively he moves well to the ball in the outfield, and has good arm strength with carry. At the plate he is a left handed hitter with a balanced swing. Grenier looks to pull the ball and tries to hit it hard. He is a very good student as well.
