On occasion when he gets a pitch to handle, Nagamine can drive the ball into the gaps. On defense Nagamine displays quick feet and some twitchiness. He is aggressive on defense and his hands are pretty good. He gets to the ball well and enjoys playing defense. Nagamine is an athletic looking player and the strength gains in the coming years will enhance his ability, particularly with the bat.
