Felipe Duenas is a 2023 RHP/IF with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Castro Valley, CA who attends Castro Valley. Medium height with wider build and lots of room to carry strength. Ran a 8.26 in the sixty yard dash. A primary right-handed pitcher, uptempo delivery with a higher leg lift and hip turn. Shorter arm stroke on the back and has a tough low 3/4 release. Natural deception and heavy sink to the fastball. Horizontal shaped breaking ball and the changeup showed big fade. A secondary infielder, confident with the glove and can make throws to both sides while on the move. A right-handed hitter, starts balanced and slightly open with higher hands and uses a small stride to get to launch. Good bat speed and getting the barrel out well. Excellent student.
