Charles Stith is a 2006 catcher/outfielder from Ramona, California, with a 5'11", 190 lb. frame. Stith had a sprained wrist at the event that affected his arm strength and release. However, he still showed some arm strength and a pop time around 2.00. It would be good to see him throw when he is 100% healthy. He did show good catching skills behind the plate and worked with the pitchers well. Offensively he uses a toe tap trigger from a slightly closed stance and stays balanced throughout his swing. Stith showed good bat speed and used the middle of the field well. Stith showed better game quickness than his sixty time might suggest, and he showed he can steal a base. He is a physically strong prospect with good catch and throw skills who should be followed. Stith is also an outstanding student.
