Charlie Strohecker is a 2006 P with a 6'4'', 205 lb. frame from Alpharetta GA, who attends Milton HS. He has a big, solid build and durable athleticism. Strohecker has a clean arm action and on line delivery that enables him to throw strikes to both sides of the plate. He threw up to 84 mph on his fastball with some arm side sink and run. We've seen Strohecker up to 87 or so in the past, so his arm might have been a bit tired from a long summer. His curveball was 69-71 mph and had a big, deep 11/5 break o n occasion. Strohecker knows what he's doing on the mound and has some polish to his approach. He should be a good pitcher at the next level.
